Oman - UAE Round Trip


Day 1 - Arrival Muscat.
Arrive at Muscat Seeb International airport, meet assist and transfer by to the hotel. Check-in and Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2 - Muscat, the Charming Arabian City.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a half day city tour of Muscat visiting the Natural History Museum, the National Museum which houses the various artifacts which explain for themselves the rich heritage and culture of Oman. Also visit the Twin Forts of Jalali & Mirani (photo stop) guarding the Royal Al Alam Palace, (photo stop), drive along the Corniche and arrive at Muttrah Souq probably the oldest Souq in Oman with charm and choice. Spend overnight in the hotel.


Day 3 - Muscat – Sur – Ras Al Hadd Turtle Reserve
ImageAfter breakfast depart by 4x4 Jeeps with your accompanying guide for the scenic Coastal Road to Sur en route visiting Wadi Dayqah, Dibab and Bimmah arrive at Fins beach, also known as the White Beach. Later proceed to Wadi Shaab. Arrive Wadi Shaab which means Ravine between the cliffs. Picnic lunch at Wadi Shaab and trek along the narrow and deep gorge of Shab alongside plantations, pools and waterfalls.
Proceed to Tiwi along the coastal plain and to Qalhat ,a town which dates back to the 2nd century AD and is one of the oldest towns in Oman. The ruins of the original town stand on a cliff overlooking the new village and the sea. The only building left standing is the mausoleum of Bibi Miriam.
From here continue to Ras Al Hadd, passing the Sur town. Arrive at Ras Al Hadd and check-in at the hotel located by the seaside.
Late evening, after dinner, take the 1-hour excursion to visit the famous Turtle beach. Ras Al Hadd is a natural turtle reserve where hundreds of green turle visit every year to lay eggs on the shore of the beach.

Day 4 - Ras Al Hadd – Wadi Bani Khaleed – Wahiba desert - Nizwa

After breakfast, leave for Nizwa, the historical city of Oman. En route we have some interesting visits. In Oman, the mountain people build their settlements at the confluence of a reliable water supply and in Wadi Bani Khalid this is obvious. Amid stark rocky outcrop is this lush and picturesque Oasis where picnic lunch will be served.
After lunch, proceed to Wahiba Sands, which is described as the perfect specimen of Sand Sea. It is a small 10,000 sq kms Desert comprising a great variety of dune formations representing stages of its evolution over millions of years. Experience the thrills of Dune Bashing and witness the Sunset over these majestic Dunes. Later proceed to Nizwa for overnight.

Day 5 - Nizwa – Al Ain
After breakfast at the Hotel, drive to Nizwa Fort built in the 17th century at a very strategic location to control the routes to the interior. Visit the Nizwa souk which is famous for its silverware and other Omani treasures. Proceed to Bahla to see the remnants of the old wall surrounding the town with its huge fort which is now on UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites, and continue to the old village of Al Hamra and the mountain village of Misfah before proceeding to Al Ain.
Arrive at Al Ain and overnight at hotel in Al Ain.

Day 6 - Al Ain – Hatta - Fujeirah
ImageExperience the scenery of UAE’s fabulous mountains, you are met by the contrast of slowly rising, unyielding rock formations, the Hajar Mountains. Reaching Hatta we visit the Heritage Village. Then continue to Fujairah, passing amazing formations of wadis and cliffs. In Fujairah the old Fort, built on a hilltop, bears witness to an exciting past. Overnight in Fujeirah.

Day 7 - Fujeirah – Dibba - Sharjah - Dubai
Morning, go for a Dhow cruise in the Arabian Sea to visit some of stunning caves and beaches. After the cruise, halfday relax at the Fujeirah beach. Afternoon, we leave Fujeirah and continue visiting en route Khorfakkan, a typical Arabian fishing village in Dibba, Masafi, the market, the Al Bitnah Mosque (oldest in the UAE), Kalba Fort and the natural springs in Masafi.
Proceed to Sharjah, the cultural capital of UAE. Photo stop at King Faisal Mosque currently the largest mosque in the Emirates. We visit the renovated Fort of Sharjah, former residence of the ruling family originally built in 1820, then continue to the Heritage Museum and proceed to wander through the adjacent souk "Al Arsa."  Our last stop is the famous souk Al Markazi - a treasure trove of carpets, jewellery and handicrafts.  
Arrive in Dubai and check-in at the hotel.

Day 8 - Dubai

Morning, city tour of Dubai. After a photo stop at Shaikh Saeed House, the former residence of the ruling family, we visit Dubai Museum in the old Al Fahidi Fort. A wander through the oldest part of the city, Al Bastakiyah, takes us to the abra station (water taxi). Enjoy a short journey on the Creek and proceed to the Spice Souk. Visit the Gold Souk – with time for shopping. A savour of the sights and sounds of the fruit and vegetable market ends this interesting tour of the cosmopolitan city.
Evening, we pick you from the hotel and transfer to the creek. We will board a traditional boat called, a Dhow, for a two-hour cruise in the historic creek. A dinner buffet will be served on board the boat.

Day 9 - Dubai. Evening Departure.
Today explore this fascinating city on your own. There are many shopping centres offering international brands and local items at very competitive prices. Or you can also go to one of the nice beaches in the emirate. In goodtime, we transfer you to Dubai for your international departure flight.
